Caruthersville
Kenitha Pittman is a force of creativity, resilience, and community leadership. Born and raised in Caruthersville, Missouri, she graduated from Caruthersville High School in 2003 and later pursued her passion for cosmetology at eClips School of Cosmetology and Barbering, completing her training in 2014.
As the founder and owner of VIP Lok Studio, LLC, Kenitha has created a welcoming space that celebrates natural beauty and specializes in the artistry of loc care and styling. She also launched Locked and Loaded, LLC, her own line of hair care products crafted with natural oils and ingredients designed to promote healthy hair. Her vision is more than business—it’s about affirming culture, confidence, and self-expression.
Her commitment to community runs just as deep. As a board member of the Multicultural Business Development Alliance, she actively works to expand opportunities for minority-owned businesses and to ensure inclusive economic growth across the region.
Kenitha’s guiding philosophy, “Each one, teach one,” is reflected in her dedication to mentorship, education, and service. Clients often describe her as more than a stylist—they call her a motivator, a healer, and a friend who makes every chair in her studio a place of empowerment.
Whether through her business, her advocacy, or her role as a mother and grandmother, Kenitha continues to inspire those around her to dream bigger and achieve more. Today, we celebrate her not only for her accomplishments, but for the light she brings to others—lifting as she climbs and leading by example
