Vacation Bible School 2025 SNAP: Stop Needless Acts of Violence, Please
The 6th Annual Community-Wide Vacation Bible School at St. James AME Church was a tremendous success! We extend heartfelt thanks to Pastor Geneva Patterson, our dedicated volunteers, and everyone who made this event possible—hats off to you!
A special thank you to:
- Jim Goldrick for inspiring the kids with his lessons.
- Cape Girardeau Conservation Center for hands-on nature learning.
- Cape Girardeau Police Department for safety talks and community connection.
- ATA Karate, Jackson, MO for fun demonstrations.
- Cape Girardeau Fire Department for fire safety education.
We also celebrate our amazing cooks, who greeted the children each night with warm, nutritious meals. Deep thanks
to our church family at Second Missionary Baptist Church, Mission Minded for providing bus transportation, and our generous supporters—Rhodes, Sam’s, Century Casino, Burger King, and Culver’s—for making this possible. And of course, to the parents whose partnership and encouragement helped turn this into another great community success story.
Most of all, we give thanks to God for showing His love through our outreach.
