Cape Girardeau, MO – July 2025
Cape Girardeau’s Friends and Family Picnic held this past July proved to be the summer’s highlight, delivering joy, laughter, and connection for residents and visitors alike. The event brought people together from near and far — reminiscent of days past — and the verdict from attendees is clear: this needs to be an annual tradition.
From the moment guests arrived, the atmosphere was filled with warmth and excitement. Neighbors greeted neighbors, children played under the summer sun, and music, conversation, and good food created the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable day.
Event coordinator Pat Washington summed up the event in a thank you statement “Whew! When I say a time was had…a time was had!
